Refund & Cancellation Policy
Template last drafted 11 September 2026. This is a general template, not legal advice, and it should be reviewed by an Australian solicitor before relying on it, especially any clause specific to how BREME actually operates.
How this applies
BREME sells scoped consulting engagements rather than off-the-shelf products, so refund and cancellation terms are confirmed in writing as part of each engagement's proposal or agreement before work begins. This page describes the general approach.
Before work begins
If you decide not to proceed after receiving a quote but before signing an agreement or making any payment, there is nothing owing and no cancellation is required.
Once an engagement has started
Deposits paid to secure a start date and commence work are generally non-refundable once work has begun, reflecting time and resources already committed. If you need to postpone or cancel a confirmed engagement, contact us as early as possible and we will work through the options in good faith, including rescheduling where that is practical.
Workshops
Facilitated workshops booked for a specific date may be rescheduled at no cost with reasonable notice. Cancellations made close to the session date may not be refundable, reflecting preparation already done.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
